Looking
Glass Studio Photography

We stopped doing
Art Fairs and miss very much the wonderful friends we made. But we also learned
a few things since starting Looking Glass Studio in the early 1990’s. The most
important was which of our images you liked enough to take home. And for this,
we will always be appreciative.
Your support
is still our most important consideration while we prepare to transfer our work
to
Absolute Gallery on Turner/Grand River where I took the Old
Town Snowy Morning picture after the 2000 blizzard in
We will be
there for the month of December to clear out inventory and start a new path for
Looking Glass Studio. We hope you will visit us if you get the chance. In the future Kathy Holcomb the owner and a
Master Framer will take over framing and sales, act as a reference point since
Polly and I spend the winter out west with our children and our small cottage

“It Took a Lifetime”

This site
will begin to take shape as I also seek help to finish the final drafts, images
and music for my final work “It Took a Lifetime” that actually documents my
career in telecommunications and Data Processing starting in 1975 and ending
with my retirement. It will include along with images and poetry,
“The
Christmas Tree”,
“Backpackers
Field Guide to Human Beings”,
“Sophistication”,
“BackPackers Field Guide to the
“Searcher:
Photobiography of Gwen Frostic”
and the other images, music
and writing I created while working, including Looking Glass Studio.
May we look
forward to integrity, courage, confidence and gracious humor,
regardless of what
happens in the future.
Most of all, my love to Polly for her 43 years of love
and patience.
